 Took my camera out after a long time. When we had a function at my friend, Ajit's house, I was certain I will get some good pics at his backyard. 

A weed to start with. This was an extra long one.

Then got these flowers. And our favorite-Jasmine (mulla poo)

This particular one was on a tree. Tiny and beautiful.

Got some pictures indoor as well. Nuts and seeds!!!

Finally, this guy was with me on my drive from Jebel Ali to Deira, and was gracious to pose for me

SUNSET

Somehow, everything around becomes beautiful at sunset. Is it because of the color or something else?

A glorious sunset is the epitome of fleeting beauty. For a few minutes, the sky is a spectacle of color — and then it’s over.

This picture below was taken during a trip to  Al Khan beach,Sharjah.

 These two pictures below are that of new fish market in Sharjah. Another example of being at right place at right time!!! I went there to see migrating birds, but this is what I got.

 The one below is near new fish market.

 This one below is Jebel Ali free zone outside gate 7.

 And finally one from Palakkad. I was waiting at new level crossing at oottara kollengode station when signal and sun where looking similar.

I am back to my passion!! Macro photography. And where else would I get better macro pictures than my backyard at home???

These are  flowers from Nemmara. Some are from garden, some are wild ones from street and there is one tender mango and flower.

Short trips to hometown become more religious if it is a festival season. There are certain things that are associated with spirituality.

Luck needs to favor you to be at the right place at the right time to get a good exposure. Sunset is one of those occasions which makes everything look beautiful. More often than not, I find myself at a place where it is a beautiful sunset and I am on the road, where there is no way I can stop and take a picture.

Ras Al Khor wild life sanctury

There are places that are so near us that we keep postponing visiting there. Ras Al Khor wilde life sanctury is one of those places where I wanted to visit, but it always remained for "next time".

Finally I made it few days back and regret not making it earlier. An area sooo natural, protected and preserves in the middle of Dubai!!! I could see flamingos in big groups, first time for me, in a natural environment.
